John Gordon

John Gordon has over 30 years of experience in senior leadership roles within the federal government and the Indigenous non-profit sector. Throughout his career, he has focused on advancing the aspirations of Indigenous Peoples and fostering community-led solutions.

John earned a Master of Arts in Canadian Studies from Carleton University, where he researched the urbanization of Indigenous Peoples in Canada, exploring community organization and government responses. His personal, academic, and professional backgrounds provide him with a unique blend of perspectives on the challenges and opportunities faced by Indigenous housing providers.

A registered member of the Tuscarora First Nation, Six Nations of the Grand River, John lives in Ottawa with his wife and three children.
