Ray Sullivan

Ray Sullivan is the Executive Director of the Canadian Housing and Renewal Association, which serves as the voice of the community housing sector and creates the conditions for community housing providers to meet their goals.

He brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the community housing sector. His in-depth knowledge of housing operations, development, and policy has earned him a respected voice within the sector.

Before joining CHRA, Ray served as Executive Director of Centretown Citizens Ottawa Corporation (CCOC) and chaired the board of Cahdco, CCOC’s non-profit real estate development corporation.

Ray initiated and established the Ottawa Community Land Trust, was President of the Social Housing Registry of Ottawa from 2009 to 2022, and served as a member of the Board of Trillium Non-Profit Housing.

Ray currently serves as Vice President of the Community Housing Transformation Centre (CHTC), and as the founding Chair of the Canadian Housing Acquisition Fund.
